Photo Contest Prizes
Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality, and effectiveness in conveying the beauty and/or unique character of the Ohio State Park Lodges. Photos must be submitted prior to November 1, 2010.
Grand Prize Winner
One winner will receive a Two Night Buckeye Package. Package includes lodging for two nights in Double Room or Double Lakeview Room, dinner for two, breakfast each morning and a $100 gift shop certificate.
First Place Winner - Each Category
One winner in each category will receive a two night stay and breakfast for two at any Ohio State Park Lodge and Conference Center operated by Xanterra.
Second Place Winner - Each Category
One winner in each category will receive a one night stay at any Ohio State Park Lodge. No financial compensation is provided to winners.
Winners
Judges will select one grand prize winner encompassing all the categories, as well as a first and second place winner for each of the contest categories. If fewer than ten eligible photographs are entered in a category, Xanterra may choose to name only a first place winner, or may cancel that category. In addition, one or more honorable mention winners may be selected in categories with especially large numbers of entries, at the discretion of the judging panel. Winners will be notified on or before December 30, 2010 by phone and e-mail using the information on the entry form.
Random Photo Submissions
Random photo submissions will be posted in online photo contest gallery monthly. Winning photos will also be published on www.ohiostateparklodges.com in the Photo Contest section after winners have been announced.
